We help children engage their bodies and minds through fun and educational activities.
Welcome to Twinklekids Early Learning Centre
At Twinklekids, we believe that early childhood is more than just a stage — it’s the foundation for lifelong learning, well-being, and identity.
Our centres are vibrant, nurturing communities where children flourish, families feel connected, and educators lead with passion and purpose. We’ve dedicated ourselves to creating safe, welcoming environments where families feel confident and supported in entrusting us with their most precious little ones.
We provide long day care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, a government-approved kindergarten program, engaging community excursions and incursions, as well as all meals and nappies — giving you peace of mind that your child is in caring and capable hands.

Hayli Tong
Area Manager
My name is Hayli, and I am the Area Manager overseeing four childcare services. With more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, I am deeply committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering professional growth across our teams.
I began my career in the childcare sector in 2010 as a room assistant, where I built a strong foundation in hands-on care and child development. Guided by a passion for education and leadership, I progressed through various roles and became a Centre Director from 2015 to 2021. During this time, I led centre operations, supported educators, and ensured high-quality outcomes for children and families.
In 2016, I also became a qualified trainer and assessor, teaching both domestic and international students undertaking the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. This role has allowed me to contribute to the development of future educators and share the knowledge and experience gained throughout my career.
I later transitioned into my current role as Area Manager, where I focus on service excellence, team empowerment, and continuous improvement. I am proud to support our educators and families through high-quality programs built on best practice, collaboration, and genuine care.

Maggie Lan
Assistant Centre Director
Hello families, my name is Maggie. I began my journey in early childhood education in 2018, though my passion started long before then. Becoming a parent only strengthened my belief that this is the career path I was meant to follow.
Since then, my love for working with children has only grown stronger. I believe their voices and needs should always come first, and I strive to build meaningful relationships with children and families. In 2024, I proudly became a provisionally qualified Kindergarten Teacher.
More recently, I stepped into the role of Assistant Director and Educational Leader at Twinklekids Waurn Ponds. This role has been both rewarding and inspiring, allowing me to support our wonderful team of educators. I look forward to creating an adventurous and nurturing environment where children can thrive and families feel supported.
Our Educators
Twinklekids Early Learning Centre has been successful in creating a positive workplace culture which reflects a high level of respect and regard for the skills and professionalism of educators. As a result, children benefit from a highly skilled, qualified, motivated and consistent team of educators comprising both full-time and part-time educators and including permanent staff who are rostered to cover planned and unplanned educator absences (thus maintaining consistency for children, educators and families and minimising the use of agency staff).
Ongoing professional learning is encouraged and supported, resulting in educator qualifications well in excess of those required under the National Quality Standards.
There is a culture of mutual, professional respect and many opportunities for individual educators to take on leadership roles. For example, as well as room leader positions, individual educators have taken the lead role as OH&S representative, sustainability leader, representatives at professional forums and facilitators of specific learning experiences.
Childcare Chef
The Centre employs a part-time Chef who plans and prepares healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. In addition, the Chef plans and displays the weekly menu, is responsible for purchasing all food supplies and works closely with the Centre Director to ensure that food safety standards are consistently maintained. The Chef is recognised as a member of the Centre’s educator team and, in collaboration with others, ensures that children have many opportunities to be actively involved in aspects of menu planning, shopping and meal preparation.
