Every day we work to empower your child.

Research-based curriculum and individual learning experiences are integral to all the programs at Twinklekids Early Learning Centre. Our teachers are dedicated and nurturing, which means their singular goal is to help your child meet milestones and become successful.

Twinklekids Early Learning Centre offers a path toward elementary school that can be personalized to meet each child’s needs.

Twinklekids Early Learning Centre offers swimming lessons at a local swimming centre where the children travel by our centre bus and have swimming lessons weekly. Our Pre-School Age Program caters for children aged 3 to 5 years, and is designed to develop water familiarisation skills with a focus on building the foundations for stroke development in a fun and structured environment.

The primary focus is teaching key foundation skills that include performing safe entries/exits, kicking on front and back floating, blowing bubbles and placing face in the water.

The program introduces floatation aids, such as kickboards, to develop confidence and establish a streamlined body position.

Small class sizes ensure children receive maximum attention.

Exercise is crucial for children’s health and wellbeing.

At Pakenham Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, our educators develop a Sports program to teach children the basic sports and development skills, giving children a chance to try a number of sports in a safe environment. Our programs are tailored to the developmental needs of each group and child. In our Education settings our program is developed to meet the Educational Framework underpinning this sector (EYLDF & MYTOP).

At Bellarine Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, we collaborate with Happy Feet Fitness, where they hold a regularly scheduled activity at Bellarine Twinklekids Early Learning Centre. Our award-winning program draws on the fun of movement and dance, the creativity of music, and the joy of active play. Each week we deliver a new and exciting interactive themed adventure and all of our classes are specially designed to encourage participation, expression and social interaction. Children shine the most when they feel like they belong and Happy Feet classes create a non-competitive, safe, happy environment for all children to learn, laugh and grow.

One of the unique things about Happy Feet Fitness is that we create all of our own music, class themes and content. This combined with our thorough understanding of the EYLF principals has allowed us to create a program perfectly matched to required learning outcomes set out by the framework. We are continuously creating original music and content designed to engage young minds. Our handmade props and costumes bring our classes to life and fire up the children’s imaginations and get them excited about learning and exercise.

At Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, the kinder children do bush kinder every week, where they go out into our local community and explore our natural environment. The development of bush kinders reflects the mounting body of evidence that outdoor activities such as exploring natural environments, are beneficial to children and contribute to improving children’s health and wellbeing. An educational program is planned, documented and delivered to children attending the bush kinder and should enhance children’s learning and development and be based on an approved learning framework (section 168; regulations 73 to 76).

At Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, we are giving preschool children the opportunity to learn in another language. A quality language program exposes children to the many benefits of learning additional languages at a young age. These include:

  • Increased reading and writing skills
  • Cognitive flexibility
  • Strengthened brain development
  • Improved problem-solving skills.

A quality language program reflects children’s views and actively seek their feedback on learning experiences in the kindergarten. It is based on the developmental needs, interests and experiences of each child and take into account their individual differences.

At Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, we occasionally teach kinder children music lessons. In our music program, kindergarten children develop a beginning recognition of musical notation. Our music program features many activities that help brain development and acceleration in young children. The vibrant and contemporary flair of the program engages children on a number of levels. It lays the foundation for a positive relationship with music that they will enjoy throughout their lives. Through the use of songs, instruments, play and props, your child will quickly develop their motor skills, aural and pitch, coordination, imagination and improvisation. Their musical skills, knowledge and creativity will progress as they go through the next stage of their lives.

At Pakenham Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, Hey Dee Ho comes to the centre for weekly music incursion and provides the children with music educational programs. Hey Dee Ho recognise the unique needs and interests of each child and have developed a range of play-based activities to address the varied developmental needs of all children from birth to age 5.

From relaxation and mindfulness to playing musical instruments to high energy dances, Hey Dee Ho’s programs engage and enhance children’s learning and fine motor development in a fun, play-based environment.

Twinklekids Early Learning Centre offers vacation care for children aged 5-12 years during school holidays.  Our fun and educational program uses the “My Time, Our Place” framework with a focus on learning through play and leisure, where children are challenged to be curious about their interests.

Our vacation care programs are specific to each child’s interest and include a variety of experiences ranging from excursions (where we go out into the community), incursions (where a provider comes to us), physical activities, project works and more.
