As well as the English, we offer various ‘immersion classes’ in the afternoons in the Kinder room, such as Mandarin.

All educators require a minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services. Each room has a Leading Educator who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or higher. All educators have successful gained a Working With Children’s Check and everyone holds formal certification in First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis.

Here at Twinklekids Early Learning Centre, our programming is individualised and designed upon the children’s interests and individual stages of development. We believe that each child and family is unique and work collaboratively with them in partnership. In our weekly programs we love gathering parent input and extending on this with the children.  We use Storypark which is an online platform to record each child’s individual and group observations. This is also a great tool for communicating between parents and educators.

Yes, you are still eligible for up to 24 hours of CCS (two days care) per week. Our fees are charged at a daily rate of 12 hours, and any additional days you required must be paid for at the full rate. For more than two full days care eligibility with CCS, you must pass the government’s Work/Training/Study test.

The Child Care Subsidy is paid directly to your childcare provide reducing your daily fees. You will only be charged the Gap fee of the full fee minus your CCS entitlement.

How much Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will I be entitled to?

This will depend on three factors:

  • How much ‘work related’ activity you and your partner undertake each fortnight. The entitlement is based on the lesser activity figure for a member of a couple.
  • Your total combined family income.
  • The amount of early education childcare undertaken.

CCS is means tested so the amount you receive depends on your family income. Please contact Centrelink to receive your CCS entitlement or contact the centre and we can give you a rough estimation based on your income estimation.
